“ Had a craving while out in Alton. Google coffee near me, and Maeva's popped up. Super chill and eclectic place. Awesome selection of baked offerings. Hubby got a latte. I got the Mud Mocha Iced. Wanted to try something new, and this thing had charcoal in it. Love, love, love this cold coffee. Absolutely delicious. Staff was super friendly, chatting with us as they made our drinks. We always like hitting the small local coffee shops over chains. If in Alton, be sure to stop here. Entrance is on the side of the old school house. Enter the doors unde the neon, up the stairs, first door to the right. ”
“ I’m in love with this place and only been there one time. I ordered to go! The coffee is strong and tasty! I love the vibe, service, and the price for a huge quiche! ”
“ This place is a great hidden gem in Alton. It is off the beaten path for me but I wanted a Flat White that didn't involve driving 20 or 30 miles. The coffee shop is housed in an old school. The location is not easy to spot from the street, so be sure to slow down and pay attention or you will pass it. The parking lot is gravel so I suggest parking on the street if you have a fresh car wash. The inside is decorated warm and inviting. What is obviously an old classroom or school office has been transformed into a cozy coffee house with a lot of local flavor. The prices are fair and actually on the lower side of what you expect to pay for coffee. The quality of the coffee is excellent and my flat white has been perfect on multiple occasions which is rare from any coffee house. A wide variety of pastries and baked goods are available and change daily. Quiche, muffins, cakes, cookies and more all at reasonable prices and extremely high quality. Definately worth the visit! ”
“ Excellent caramel iced lattes with oat milk, reasonably priced. Cute interior. Blueberry coffee cake was delicious. ”
“ Inspired by the shop vibe. Makes you want to create. So impressed by the delicious coffee and enormous quiche. Hope to spend more time next visit.. ”
“ Very cute coffee shop. We stopped here on a Saturday morning after breakfast. The chai latte was amazing i added lavender. The gooey butter cake was okay but not as good as a homemade one in my opinion. The vibes of this coffee shop are top notch. I will be back to try the boozy coffee ”
“ Oh my gosh! Get the Midnight Mocha. It is so good. The monkey bread was pretty tasty too. Staff was super nice and the shop has character. ”
“ I came here while I was out and about. It's a neat coffee shop that is inside of an old school. I got a candied orange macchiato, which I didn't know if I would like but ended up loving it. Orange is a flavor you wouldn't think goes with coffee. ”
